Hours Of Operation and Extended Hours
Camp sessions start Monday July 5, 2010, and will end Friday Aug 27, 2010. The camp program runs 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Extended hours 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The fee is $8.00 per day and is payable upon enrolment. Extended hour fees do not apply to trip days due to the length of the trips.

Enrolment and Other Fees
Fees must be received in full prior to your child (children) attending camp. Payments can be made in cash or cheque. Cheques are payable to Noah’s Ark Childcare. NSF cheques are subject to a $35.00 service charge.
Each week of enrolment is $185.00 per child including trips. No camp on Monday in Week of Civic Holiday, short week fee is $148.00. This does not included Extended Hours or Late Pick-Up Policy Fees.

Children must be 4 years of age prior to the month of June.

Late Pick-Up Policy and Fees
Campers not registered for Extended Hours are to be dropped off no earlier than 8:00am and picked up no later than 4:00pm.
Campers participating in the Extended Hours can be picked up no later than 5:00 pm.
In order to maintain proper ratios, we require advance notice of Extended Hours upon registration. Late fees are charged to any camper that is not picked up prior to their registered time.

FEE SCHEDULE FOR LATE PICK UP
First Offence and less than 15 minutes late: no charge.
5-15 minutes late: $10.00
16-30 minutes late: $25.00
30+ minutes late: $50.00

Illness Policy
If your child becomes ill at camp, you will be immediately notified and must arrange the pick-up of your child within 2 hours. If your child is not picked up within the 2 hours there will be a late fee charge of $5.00 per half hour. Fees for sick days will not be reimbursed.

Refund and Cancellation
CANCELLATION
A refund of 50% may be issued when a cancellation is received two weeks prior to the start of the session for which your child (children) are registered. The 50% refund is contingent upon your child's space being filled from a name on the waiting list. Cancellations received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the session will not be refunded. Days missed from camp cannot be rescheduled or reimbursed. Refunds for camp closure beyond the control of New Adventures Day Camp will be handled on a case-by-case basis and subject to an administration fee.
NOTIFICATION OF CAMP CLOSURE:
Signs will be posted at the camp facility and will be announced on local radio stations.

Payment Options
Full fees (weekly rate and Extended Hours Services) are due upon enrolment. Payment options may be arranged for campers enrolled longer than a four-week session.
Fees can be paid by cash, cheque, certified cheque, or money order. NO Visa, Master Card, or debit.

Behaviour Management
Appropriate behaviour expectations are clearly outlined to staff, volunteers, campers, and parents. The following are the rules that campers are to expected to follow:
- All campers will demonstrate respect for both themselves and others.
- They will respect individual differences.
- They will show respect for property owned by other campers as well as the camp.
- They will stay within the boundaries of set activities.
- They will be responsible for their own actions and the consequences of their behaviour.
Any behaviours, actions, or language that do not contribute to a positive environment for campers, staff and volunteers will be dealt with in a respectful and fair manner.
Issues will be reviewed and dealt with on an individual basis. Parents will be notified in a timely manner that corresponds with the severity of the offence. The Camp Director reserves the right to remove any child from any program permanently. Fees will not be refunded.

Lost and Found
The camp is not responsible for any lost or damaged belongings while at camp.

Damages
Parents and/or guardians will be financially responsible for all damages caused by their children while on and off the premises of New Adventures Day Camp.

Trips
Campers will be participating in in-town and out-of-town trips. They will be traveling by foot, city bus and chartered bus services. All trips are included in the weekly fee. Campers may wish to bring money on a trip for rental of equipment, spending, or lunches.

Emergency and Medical Treatment
In the case of an emergency if the parent or guardian is not immediately available, New Adventures Day Camp reserves the right to have an attending physician hospitalize, secure treatment, order injections, blood transfusions, or anesthetics, or any treatment as noted to be needed by the physician caring for the child as well as transportation to the emergency department at a hospital by an emergency service vehicle.

Parents or guardians are to provide immediate notification of any change in medical or health condition regarding their child.

Publicity
Camper may appear in any publicity arranged by New Adventures Day Camp for the purpose of advertising or promotions including newspapers, radio, television, slide presentations, and other publications.

Summer Sun Policies
Campers are required to provide and apply sun screen to protect themselves from the effects of the sun. Parents or guardians assume full responsibility for effects associated with the use of sun screen and the risks associated with outdoor activities (eg, sunburn and/or sunstroke).

Communicable Diseases
Any communicable diseases must be disclosed to New Adventures Day Camp. New Adventures Day Camp reserves the right to disqualify any child from participating should their condition be a threat to the safety and the well being of others.

Head Lice Policy
In the case of a child showing indications of having head lice, the child will be sent home immediately for treatment. The child will not be able to return to camp until the occurrence is over. Fees will not be refunded.

What to Bring to Camp
CLOTHING:
Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for daily activities and weather conditions. We recommend that your child bring a change of clothing, swim suit and towel, hat, running shoes, water sandals, etc. Parents or guardians may wish to label their child's items for easy identification.
LUNCHES:
Campers are responsible to provide their own snacks, lunches, and drinks.
